About me
Me as a programmer
I would describe myself as a creative person who likes problem solving and creating stuff and I think this really comes together as a programmer. All the cool stuff I can come up with, like complex item combination, fun and entertaining player movement or awesome weapons I can actually create.
I like solving problems and I'm not afraid of a challenge. If I get stuck on a problem, I can get very immersed in my work, and it can be a real thorn in my side if I don't find a solution. I'm very energetic and I like to be involved in the development process and I am also very adaptive, so I think I fit in with most groups of people. Some of the most fun you can have is working together with designers and artists alike to create the best game you can.
My skills
The main languages I know and which I feel comfortable coding in is C++ and C#, although I got introduced to programming through Java. I know these well enough to do most tasks, but I am not afraid to look through documentation if it's necessary.
I know both Unity and Unreal quite well as we have used both of these for our game projects, as well as TenGine Playgroundsquads own engine. I have no trouble using any of these engines and find both easy to use and to work with.
Me as me
I am a very energetic guy who's generally very optimistic and I try to look at the bright side of life. When met with setbacks or challenges I try to stay positive and meet them head on.
I'm in general very social and like to talk about or discuss many different topics. Some of my favorite topics are games, technology, space and politics. I am not afraid to state my own opinion, but I am also respectful towards others and their opinions.
I also really like learning about stuff. History, physics, inventions, architecture, movies or anything really. As long as I find it entertaining or if I'm invested in a topic, I can find it really pleasing diving deep into a topic.
Hobbies
I like to do a number of different things but unsurprisingly I spend most of my free time playing games. I can't settle for a favorite as I play a bunch of different types of games but my top 5 are: Minecraft, Stardew Valley, CS:GO, War Thunder and The hunter: COTW.
I do also enjoy spending time outside; biking or hiking can be really relaxing especially in a forest or mountainous environment. The thing I enjoy most however is fishing specifically fly fishing. It can be really peaceful yet filled with excitement when you get something on the line.
